Research Project Abstract
Courtroom dramas have become a staple of American media from Judge Judy to Law and Order to the Amanda Show, there has not been a lack of the courtroom in conventional media. The Ace Attorney franchise capitalizes on this love of the courtroom. By placing the audience in the shoes of the lead defense attorney, the player is immersed in the world of the courtroom. What does our infatuation with the fast pace and drama of the courtroom say about us as a society? How does the portrayal of the justice system in Ace Attorney reflect our current system?
