Research Project Abstract
With Brexit becoming a living reality, the limelight has fallen on the Brexiteers, namely Nigel Farage. The proposition is to find out how central Farage is to Brexit. To gain a clear picture of his centrality, the research will proceed by 1) highlighting Farage’s motif and motive for supporting Brexit, and 2) evaluating his foothold in British politics – particularly as a former and leader of the UKIP. This will encompass the tactics used by Farage in his attempt to sway the referendum votes. With this, the research will incorporate any backlashes from Farage’s campaigns that could have jeopardized his centrality to Brexit.
