Research Project Abstract
Sceptical feelings amongst unsatisfied Brits appears out of the woodwork building up to the Brexit referendum of 2016, further unveiling the growing euroscepticism amongst other European countries. This will be determined through conducting a survey on political parties in countries showing signs of Euroscepticism. Comparing 1) The election polls of parties with Eurosceptic alignment 2) What leads up to these feelings of disconnect from the European Union - to show the expected upsurge of separatist attitudes. The expectation behind Euroscepticism comes from the enlargement of the European Union that economically burdens Western European countries. Also, the vast amount of displaced refugees and migrants flooding into Europe, inciting reserve when it comes to the EU’s vetting system into their countries.
