Research Abstract This Project will explore the ethos of women within the Black Panther Party.Research began through studying the life of Kathleen Cleaver. Sources thus far include an encyclopedia entry on Kathleen Cleaver, a video interview on her time with the Black Panther Party, and interview on her life, an article on her education, and two New York Times articles about Cleaver during her time with the Black Panther Party.
