Description
Letter to Sonora Dodd from Charles H. Leavy, with envelope. Charles H. Leavy served in the U.S. House of Representatives as Congressman from the Washington State 5th District from 1937 to 1942. Leavy is also significant for delivering a speech to Congress in 1937 advocating for the official recognition of Father's Day as a national holiday.
