Fr. Vincent Lebbe has returned to Europe to collect funds and find personnel for the founding of Catholic secondary schools and a newspaper in the vicariate of Tianjin; his visit to his sister Lizzi (Sister Marie-Benoît, Canonesses of St. Augustine in Westgate, England) to discuss these matters becomes the occasion of a family reunion.
