Lewis served as Director of Public Relations for the Veterans Administration, Washington, D. C. Attached documents are as follows: (1) Draft of Official Proclamation for a State Governor to recognize June 16, 1946 as the holiday Father's Day, with particular emphasis on veterans, (2) "Ten Commandments for Honoring Veterans, Father's Day", and (3) a letter to Alvin Austin from Douglas MacArthur, concerning veterans and Father's Day.
