Abstract

This zine is meant to highlight the wisdom that other cultures, people, and experiences have brought into my life. Culture and place deeply shape who we are; stepping into other cultures often challenges us in new and profound ways as people. It tests our beliefs and begs us to question our ways of living.

My advice is this: get out of your world; step into someone else's. Ask good questions, remain humble in your understanding, and be open to learning.
